Another Game Idea – Revenge Quest

This idea is very, very, VERY rough…so I apologize in advance. This idea started with me wanting to make a Metroidvania, but have it all 8-bit and with a horror theme attached. Now, I get it, most of the new Castlevanias HAVE a horror theme, but well…there’s a little more to this. The original idea was called something along the lines of “Chainsaw Boy.”

Manhunt 2

General Overview

Gore, violence, death, destruction, mayhem, murder, and plenty of other stuff you’d expect from just about any Rockstar game included all in one little package. Manhunt 2 gives us more, more, more…though it does end up a bit censored and kinda silly by the end of it. All the same, if you’re a fan of the original, it’s definitely worth checking out.

How An Achievement Caused Introspection

Skyrim is a fantastic game where even something as minor as sidequesting can be fun, interesting, and even a well told story all in its own. Some of the sidequests in Skyrim are much more entertaining than the main storyline…so much so that the main storyline pales in comparison to it. This seems to be something that Bethesda does well. It almost sounds backwards, yet it really is quite brilliant.

Ghost Trick – Phantom Detective

General Overview

An odd, but very interesting and fun adventure/puzzle game that involves a murder mystery about your own death. In Ghost Trick, you’ll constantly be looking at the environment over and over again wondering how you can manipulate things to change the fates and outcomes of otherwise terrible events. While some might call this gimmicky, I personally enjoyed it, even though there is a bit of trial and error.
