But Are Used Games Bad?

An all out war has been declared on used games and I have to wonder…are used games really that bad? Obviously there are negative connotations to buying used over new and clearly you should buy new when you can, but…well, does it even matter? One question you have to continuously ask yourself is how am I benefitting (or robbing) the developer?

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things – Episode 10

Been a while since I’d done one of these, so I figured I’d take another crack at it. There’s no real relation between these and while there are spoilers, I don’t think it’s anything we haven’t seen already as the gamer populace, so no worries there. Ultimately, these are things that make you laugh, smile, or in general just plain enjoy when a design studio comes together to create something wonderful.

RPG of the Year – 2010

Same rules apply. I’ve cross referenced and double checked all the games on this list to confirm where and when they came out. North American release dates only and if I was unable to play the game, then I can’t count it. Shadow Hearts Series

The Shadow Hearts games are hilarious, fun, and great RPGs. All of them. If you’ve not tried at least one of them, you’ve seriously been missing out. Funnily enough, you won’t find them on most peoples’ top RPG listings. This is because of various factors such as better RPGs being out the same year, shortsightedness, or probably not having played them, but all the same, they’re great games that you should definitely check out immediately.

Hector – Badge of Carnage

General Overview

So in one episode, you have to repair a car…and to do so, you need a fanbelt. You have to get a fat hooker to be at least moderately attractive (by having her drink mouthwash), and then while she’s getting fucked by some bloke in a back alley, you take her garter belt and supplement it as a fanbelt. I’m not even going to bother explaining how to get the car battery working again, but suffice to say, if you’re easily offended, then fuck off because this game’s clearly not for you.
