Game Ideas – Zombie A.I.

In my opinion, the zombie craze is going to have to die down sooner or later. I don’t know when this zombie fetish stuff started, probably back in 2006 or something, but it will eventually take its toll and zombies will be on the same level as other monsters again shortly, I’m sure. That said, I have an idea for a zombie game told from a very different angle.

The Great Steam Roundup – Episode 12

Ya, figured it was time for another one of these. I’ve gotten quite a few Steam titles since then (I’m up to 289 as of this writing). The main reason I was hesitant to push on with this, besides my motivation being sapped, was that the last one felt like I was…reaching. The good news is that isn’t really happening this time, so hopefully I’ll have quite a bit more to say.

The Great Steam Roundup – Episode 6

This time around I’m going fairly random. Yeah, there’s really no major relationship between any of these titles, so this intro text is kinda worthless. In fact, if anything, it’s filler space. I feel obligated to put at least SOMETHING up here though, otherwise, I mean, come on, how would I introduce this article? And with that, we have our first paragraph! Hooray!

The Great Steam Roundup – Episode 4

So today I’m going to be a little more positive, which should be easy because like I said, it’s actually pretty hard for me to find stuff I absolutely cannot recommend in my own personal library. I’m going to attempt to focus on games that you may not have heard of or in general may not know much about and have been wondering about. Let’s get started!

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon

General Overview

With plenty of slapstick, gags, puns, and a number of jokes that were clearly lost in translation, Mystical Ninja impresses with its…hey, wait a minute. Okay, no, it isn’t the same game, but a lot of the humor, characters, and situations remain the same in this Zelda 64-esque title that…well, really could be a lot better…but is still very fun overall.

The Fantastic World Of Japanese Games – Episode 4

Sometimes a game is deemed “too weird” to come to American soil. This doesn’t happen all the time and usually when it does, it’s for good reason. I mean, I guess so. I’ve decided to include youtube embeds on all the game pictures this time. Aren’t I such a nice guy?! All three of the games highlighted here definitely have their quirks, but should still definitely have come to America. Sadly, all three are RPGs as well, so that may have something to do with it. Anyway!

Backloggiversary! What The Hell Is That?

3 years ago today, I came upon a site called Backloggery. It’s a site where you can post games you’re playing, that you’ve beaten, that you own, and so on. It’s meant as a place to help motivate you into finishing everything you have as well as brag about your own personal accolades. You can even put in comments, ratings for games, make note your achievement points, and so on.

In celebration of this, I’m going to kind of pimp out what I’ve been playing in order of most frequently updated to least. And don’t forget, as I usually do, there are youtube links embedded in the pics. Enjoy!
